Sumner-Bonney Lake Basketball (SBC)

SBC Basketball teaches fundamental skills at an early age. Our program attracts boys beginning with 5th grade through the end of 8th grade. We also have a High School Players Clinic which run's the first week of every Winter season. The focus is teaching players how to play basketball thought disciplined drills, repetitive fundamentals, homework assignments, consistent conditioning and a lot of fun. Our coaches also teach discipline first, how to push through situations and how to overcome challenges.

The kids will learn to play good defense, fundamental offenses, they will be prepared for High School Basketball as well as competitive select AAU Basketball.Our goal is to improve the skill level of basketball in the East Pierce County area.  We work with the boys and girls teams through the recreation department along with the elementary and middle schools in the Bonney Lake, Sumner, Derringer, Enumclaw, White River and Puyallup School Districts.

We also offer coaching clinics for all interested coaches coaching 5th grade and younger.  SBC has a unique way to teach kids how easy it is to learn how to play basketball and have fun doing it.  SBC coaches are very passionate about coaching and do an impressive job with the kids. They are respectful, disciplined, knowledgeable and fun to interact with. SBC strives to make the kids the best they can be in Academics, Community Involvement, good leadership and respectful citizens is a high priority.
